Zed Martin in Constantine

We finally get to see how Zed Martin looks like on Constantine with the first two images from the second episode of the series. Zed wasn’t announced as a character until late last summer when the studio decided to retool the pilot and replace the female lead character Liv Aberdeen, who would be featured in the pilot in a guest appearance. So with the new female character, expect Matt Ryan’s John Constantine and Angelica Celaya’s Zed Martin to butt heads as they both tackle on the supernatural throughout the series.

There’s also a promo that gives us a little introduction to Zed Martin. The character is an artist who has a strange connection with John Constantine after painting pictures of him and also happens to get visions of the future. The two of them finally meet but John doesn’t seem too happy with this new partnership, saying that the people closest to him end up dead. We won’t see Zed until next week’s episode, but audiences may catch a glimpse of her at the end of the series premiere episode this Friday.
