DC’S LEGENDS OF TOMORROW: Nick Zano to Play Steel for Season Two [The CW]

Nick Zano Cast as Dr. Nate Heywood/Steel on DC’s Legends of Tomorrow. Ther hero roster for Legends of Tomorrow keeps on growing with it’s latest addition. Nick Zano has been cast for The CW hit series’ second season as Dr. Nate Heywood, who is also known as superhero Steel.

Deadline revealed that Minority Report’s Nick Zano will be a series regular on Legends of Tomorrow’s second season as Dr. Nate Heywood. Even though it hasn’t been confirmed yet, Heywood may most likely suit up as the indestructible Steel/Commander Steel/Citizen Steel at some point. His character may end up following in his grandfather’s footsteps if the series follows his family’s history in the comics. His grandfather was Commander Steel, who was a member of the Justice Society of America.

Nathan has been known in the comics to transform his skin into steel after his encounter with supervillain Reichsmark, so it’s possible that something similar to that may happen with the character on the show.
