The first teaser video for Deadpool 2 (2018) has been released by 20th Century Fox. Entitled ‘No Good Deed,’ The Deadpool 2 promo is like a comedy short film starring Ryan Reynolds and Stan Lee. As soon as the initial setup takes place, it is clear what will transpire. It does. No Good Deed takes the classic Superman setup and then makes it into comedy gold.

The robbery goes on and on and Wade Wilson / Deadpool takes even longer to disrobe and change into his comic book-accurate Deadpool costume. The Firefly posters on the wall of one of the buildings behind the phone booth was a nice touch.

When Deadpool talks to the dead man’s body then props himself up on it, its hilarious. He basically says all of the things that CinemaSins or a logical viewer would say about the situation e.g. why didn’t Deadpool just call the police on his cell phone?

I have not seen Logan yet but I have read that this Deadpool 2 footage appears before Logan begins.

There is no word yet on the plot of Deadpool 2 yet but it apparently will contain Nathan Summers / Cable and Neena Thurman  / Domino. No casting announcements have been made yet on either role.

With the presence of Cable in the narrative and Deadpool’s virtual immortality, the plot of Deadpool 2 may involve time travel to different time periods in the future.

The first Deadpool film starred Brianna Hildebrand, Rachel Sheen, Andre Tricoteux, Leslie Uggams, Karan Soni, Paul Lazenby, Sean Quan, T.J. Miller,  Morena Baccarin, Gina Carano, Ed Skrein, Taylor Hickson, Jed Rees, and Ben Wilkinson.
