THE DEFENDERS: Teaser Shows Off Team and Release Date Confirmed [Netflix]

The Defenders Viral Teaser

Netflix Unveils Teaser and Release Date for The Defenders

Netflix and Marvel have just released a brief teaser for their upcoming miniseries The Defenders, which gives us a glimpse of Daredevil (Charlie Cox), Luke Cage (Mike Colter), Danny Rand (Finn Jones) and Jessica Jones (Krysten Ritter) coming out of what seems to be a fight.

The teaser for The Defenders have just went viral, displaying the team through the lens of a elevator camera. It seems like the team just came off of a big fight, as they look exhausted. The gang is at Midland Circle Financial, which you can spot the name in the video. The company’s name should be familiar if you’ve watched Daredevil’s second season because this was the place where The Hand was when a massive hole was dug up on the ground.

If you take a look at the team, it appears that Daredevil is wearing just a headscarf in order to protect his identity. It’s a little funny since he’s standing next to Danny Rand/Iron Fist who doesn’t wear a mask. Towards the end of the video, we spot Jessica Jones taking out the elevator camera to cover their tracks. For those on the web, the series has a viral website showing the New York Bulletin. The fictional newspaper shows many stories and events’ surrounding the four shows, along with a release date that is going to be on August 18, 2017.
