Destroyer Trailer

Karyn Kusama‘s Destroyer (2018) movie trailer stars Nicole Kidman, Toby Kebbell, Tatiana Maslany, Sebastian Stan, and Scoot McNairy. Destroyer‘s plot synopsis: “DESTROYER follows the moral and existential odyssey of LAPD detective Erin Bell who, as a young cop, was placed undercover with a gang in the California desert with tragic results. When the leader of that gang re-emerges many years later, she must work her way back through the remaining members and into her own history with them to finally reckon with the demons that destroyed her past.”

This film looks like a tour de force for Nicole Kidman. A darkness seems to hang over almost everything in this film. The dichotomy between the past and the present is striking but the present day scenes feature an Erin Bell (Nicole Kidman) that looks twisted and on the edge.

Destroyer
also stars Bradley Whitford, Toby Huss, James Jordan, Beau Knapp, Kelvin Han Yee, Colby French, Natalia Cordova-Buckley, Zach Villa, and Jade Pettyjohn.
