District B13 Ultimatum Movie Trailer has premiered. District B13 Ultimatum is directed by Patrick Alessandrin and stars David Belle, Cyril Raffaelli, and Camille De Pazzis. District B13 Ultimatum’s plot synopsis: “Three years after the events of the original film, the authorities are attempting to return law and order to ravaged District 13. The death of gang overlord Taha Bemamud has left a power vacuum, and total control of the area is now being fought over by five rival territorial gang lords who want to step into Taha’s position. Damien and Leito return to District 13 on a mission to bring peace to the troubled sector before the secret services of Paris take drastic measures to solve the problem.” I saw and reviewed the first District B13 (Banlieue 13) a few years ago. District B13 Ultimatum was already released in France last February and is already available on DVD and Blu-ray in other parts of the world. District B13 Ultimatum‘s plot sounds very similar to the the first film’s plot. The action in the original was insane, a mix of Fast and Furious with MTV sensibilities and an injection of adrenaline. I think they should have discussed the plot of District B13 Ultimatum a little more in the movie trailer but then again, maybe there is no real plot and they were playing to the film’s strenghts.
