Thoughts on This Week’s In-home Releases
The home releases of Breakdown, Ben-Hur, Ray, Under Siege, Mean Girls, All the President’s Men, and Roots are the most noteworthy releases (and pre-orders) on home video and streaming services this week.
FilmBook Writer Thomas Duffy reviewed The Housemaid and had this to say about the movie:
If The Housemaid entertains (and it definitely does), is it necessary to criticize its flaws? Not really. This film sustains interest for a tad over two hours seamlessly as the pieces of the puzzle of the plot coalesce to create an intense nail-biter where anything goes and it’s impossible to predict which way the plot will turn next.

FilmBook Writer Thomas Duffy reviewed Wicked: For Good and had this to say about the movie:
There’s going to be a big crowd that goes to see Wicked: For Good. I think they’ll enjoy it on the most basic level, but would be very surprised if the stars get Oscar nominations again for the same roles they played last year. It’s not a total misfire. There are a lot of clever parallels the movie makes to the classic, The Wizard of Oz.
