Evil Dead TV Spot. Fede Alvarez‘s Evil Dead (2013) TV spot 1, co-written by Diablo Cody, stars Shiloh Fernandez, Jessica Lucas, Lou Taylor Pucci, Elizabeth Blackmore, and Jane Levy. The Evil Dead‘s plot synopsis: based on Sam Raimi‘s 1981 original film, “Mia, a young woman struggling with sobriety, heads to a remote cabin with her brother and a group of friends, where the discovery of a Book of the Dead leads to danger and horror…[they] unwittingly summon up dormant demons living in the nearby woods, which possess the [friends] in succession until only one is left intact to fight for survival.”
