FAST & FURIOUS 7 (2014): Paul Walker’s Death Delays Film Indefinitely

Vin Diesel Fast and Furious 7

Fast and Furious 7 Filming Cancelled. The death of Paul Walker has indefinitely and inevitably delayed the production of the seventh The Fast and the Furious movie. Yesterday it was announced that the scheduled shoot in Atlanta for Fast and Furious 7 had been cancelled. This was of no surprise. The current shooting script houses scenes with Paul Walker’s character. Obviously, those scenes can not be shot thus whatever the plot of the film was that involved his character will have to be altered to account for the fact that Paul Walker has died. Coupled with that, production on the film was only half-way complete. This all means that Fast & Furious 7 will most-likely not hit its July 11th, 2014 theatrical release date.

Since Paul Walker’s untimely death, “director James Wan, producer Neal Moritz and Universal Pictures executives had been on the phone continually” about the future of the film. As of now, nothing has been decided yet.
