Fast and Furious star Paul Walker Has Died in a Car Crash. Paul Walker and Roger Rodas were killed in Santa Clarita County, California yesterday. The fatal car collision happened at 3:30 pm, according to Santa Clarita County Sheriff’s Department, on Rye Canyon Loop in Valencia where the “two victims inside [the] vehicle engulfed in flames were pronounced dead at the scene.” Rodas was the driver and Walker was the passenger during the car ride in “a red 2005 Porsche Carrera GT.” Both were riding from a charity event at Walker’s organization Reach Out Worldwide.

Walker’s long-time Fast & Furious co-lead Vin Diesel posted a photo of the two of them on Instagram with a caption, “Brother I will miss you very much. I am absolutely speechless. Heaven has gained a new Angel. Rest in Peace.”

Fellow Fast & Furious co-star Dwayne Johnson wrote on Twitter, “All my strength, love & faith to the Walker family during this heartbreaking time. We find our strength… in his light. Love you brother.”

Said Ludacris on Instagram, “Your humble spirit was felt from the start, wherever you blessed your presence you always left a mark, we were like brothers & our birthdays are only 1 day apart, now You will forever hold a place in all of our hearts @paulwalker legacy will live on forever. R.I.P.”

Added Tyrese Gibson on Facebook, “My heart is hurting so bad no one can make me believe this is real. Father God I pray that you send clarity over this cause I just don’t understand. My heart hurts it’s broken no one can convince me that this is real… Prayer warriors please pray real hard for his only child, his daughter and family… #HeartOfAnAngel13YrsFamilyForever WeJustCelebreatedYour40thBirthday… My God… My God… I can’t believe I’m writing this.”

Gal Gadot Tweeted: “Lost a dear friend today. So sudden and tragic – @RealPaulWalker was a great man with a big heart and passion. RIP”.

“I am so beyond heartbroken right now,” Fast & The Furious 7 director Wan said on Twitter. “I can’t process anything.”

Paul Walker’s death is shocking. I almost thought it was a joke but this is very real. It is so sur-real that an actor known for car movies and car stunts would actually die in a car crash off-camera. It sounds like a bad punchline (cue snare drum). There is no drum and this is just tragic. I never heard anything even slightly bad about Paul Walker. By all accounts, he was a good guy. This sucks. “Universal Pictures, where  Walker made the Fast & Furious movies he was best known for, hasn’t yet disclosed how this tragedy will impact the movie that is now in production.”

Obviously his remaining, unfilmed scenes will have to be rewritten.
