FIRST MAN (2018) International Movie Trailer: The Human Cost of Ryan Gosling’s Moon Landing

The international movie trailer for Damien Chazelle‘s First Man (2018) has been debuted from Universal Pictures. This film trailer contains numerous new scenes from the NASA mission film. Claire Foy gets far more screen time in this film than in any of the other trailers or TV spots released for this film.

First Man‘s plots synopsis: based on the book by James R. Hansen, “First Man tells the story of NASA’s mission to land a man on the moon, focusing on Neil Armstrong during the years between 1961 and 1969. A visceral, first-person account, the movie will explore the sacrifices and the cost—on Armstrong and on the nation—of one of the most dangerous missions in history.”

First Man also stars Ryan Gosling, Kyle Chandler, Pablo Schreiber, Corey Stoll, Ethan Embry, Jon Bernthal, Jason Clarke, Patrick Fugit, Lukas Haas, and Shea Whigham.

Ryan Gosling is playing Neil Armstrong, Claire Foy will play his wife. Kyle Chandler is playing original Mercury Seven astronaut Deke Slayton, Pablo Schreiber is Jim Lovell, Corey Stoll is Buzz Aldrn, Ethan Embry is Pete Conrad, Jon Bernthal is Dave Scott, Jason Clarke is Edward Higgins White, Patrick Fugit is Elliott See, Lukas Haas is Mike Collins and Shea Whigham is Gus Grissom.

Written by Academy Award® winner Josh Singer (Spotlight), the drama is produced by Wyck Godfrey & Marty Bowen (The Twilight Saga, The Fault in Our Stars) through their Temple Hill Entertainment banner, alongside Chazelle and Gosling. Isaac Klausner (The Fault in Our Stars) executive produces. Amblin Entertainment co-finances the film.
