Black Flash’s Presence to be Felt in Arrowverse

The Black Flash is about to make his presence known in the Arrowverse as the countdown begins for The Flash villain’s arrival. First teased in the season two finale of The Flash, it’s been confirmed that the Black Flash will be coming to The CW series, but who will wear the suit?

During this current season, The Flash has brought on speedsters Savitar, Kid-Flash, and Jesse Quick, but we may get one more coming this year. However, the Black Flash won’t only be on The Flash as the Grim Reaper will be coming in all the DC TV shows. Showrunner Andrew Kreisberg told The Wrap that we will be seeing the villain in the Arrowverse. “I will say that you might be seeing him on multiple shows,” he teased at the Television Critics’ Association’s Winter Press Tour.

We last saw that Teddy Sears’ Zoom later became the Black Flash after the Time Wraiths came and took him away into their dimension. However, when the Black Flash returns, Teddy Sears may not be inside the suit. The reason is because the actor is already busy working on 24: Legacy. However, it sounds like the villain will become much more involved in the DC TV Universe. Talking about the Black Flash’s presence, Kreisberg said:

He’s a classic character. We have storylines on multiple shows that fit having him around. There’s something so scary about him, something even scarier than when he was just the man, because now it’s now he is the Grim Reaper, he is the devil. How do you stop the devil? So it presents an interesting challenge for the heroes of the respective shows in which he appears.

Are you excited to see the Black Flash make his presence known in the Arrowverse?
