Wonder Woman Receives a New Poster and Trailer

After all the teases this past week, Warner Bros. has finally unveiled the third trailer for Wonder Woman, which has a lot more action and gives us some more background on Diana Prince (Gal Gadot). The first two trailers were fantastic, but the latest one doesn’t offer much with new footage. There are some new shots of Diana training with the Amazonians, but it doesn’t offer much for fans than we would’ve thought. The good thing is that the trailers haven’t spoiled anything for the plot, which means we are in for a few surprises. If that doesn’t convince us to see the film, then maybe the new poster will. In this latest poster, we see Diana as she kneels down in the beaches of Themyscira with the color tone being warm. What do you guys think of the poster and trailer? Wonder Woman releases in theaters on June 2.

The Tick Gets an Update on His Costume for New Series

Viewers who have seen the pilot of the Amazon Original Series The Tick agree that it is a vast improvement from the previous series. We do have to agree though that The Tick’s (Peter Serafinowicz) costume does look ridiculous. That is probably he received a bit of an updated look in the pilot. However, after reading some comments from fans who were interested in a full season, the online streaming service ended up giving Peter’s The Tick a more grounded look that is similar to the original TV series and from the comics. We have our first look here to give you an idea of what he will look like. What do you guys think of the costume?

Black Lightning Adds Christine Adams as Lynn Stewart

The last role to be filled in The CW’s adaptation of Black Lightning has been cast, as Christine Adams will be playing Lynn Stewart, the ex-wife of Jefferson Pierce (Cress Williams). Deadline has described the character as a woman “who exudes confidence and intelligence. Although she’s got a mischievous side, she’s not one to be trifled with when it comes to family”. It will be interesting to see what her dynamic will be with Jefferson when he returns to his superhero duties after coming out of retirement. Christine Adam’s other credits include Agents of SHIELD and Batman Begins.

Blair Redford Revealed to Be Playing Thunderbird in X-Men Series Gifted

We recently found out that the new X-Men family drama on FOX is being called Gifted. Now we are learning that a character from the X-Men comics will be making his appearance on the show. We previously reported that Blair Redford would be playing a character on the show, and now we know that he will be playing classic X-Men character Thunderbird. Actress Natalie Alyn Lind revealed the news on her Twitter feed where a casting sheet can be shown, and we see Blair under the name John Proudstar. For those who don’t know, John Proudstar is the alter ego for Thunderbird, a mutant who went by the name Warpath for a while and changed it to Thunderbird to honor his brother James. In the upcoming series, he will be leading the underground network of mutants which the parents runs to in order to protect their gifted children. What do you think of this latest revelation on Blair’s character?

Motion-Capture Actor Terry Notary Gets a Role in Avengers: Infinity War

Terry Notary has been known for his motion-capture work in films like Avatar, Warcraft, and recently in Kong: Skull Island. Well, the actor has another role coming up, as he will be bringing a major Marvel villain to life in Avengers: Infinity War. In an interview with The Hollywood Reporter, Terry revealed that he will be part of the big superhero team-up as Thanos’ right hand man. Beyond that, he has not revealed the character’s name. Our guess is that he may be playing one of Thanos’ henchman in Cull Obsidian AKA The Black Order. This group is known for hunting down all the Infinity Stones for their boss. If Notary is playing one of the members, who do you think it may be?

First Look at The Flash/Supergirl Musical Crossover in New Promo

The CW has released the first promo for the upcoming musical crossover between The Flash and Supergirl, which gives us our first look at Grant Gustin‘s Barry Allen and Melissa Benoist dancing in a musical number. The musical crossover will start at the end of Supergirl’s March 20th episode and continue the next day in The Flash’s episode ‘Duet’. Most of the footage are from their previous crossover, but there are also some new shots of the two super friends having fun in a song while they are dressed in 40s attire. This may all be due to Darren Criss‘ Music Meister who puts Kara in a coma and traps her in an endless musical dream dance world. Check out the promo and let us know what you think.

Arrow Extended Promo for Checkmate

When Arrow returns this week, Oliver Queen (Stephen Amell) finally learns who Prometheus is and he will not be taking it well. In the promo for ‘Checkmate’, we see that Talia al-Ghul (Lexa Doig) reaches out to Oliver to tell him that Adrian Chase (Josh Segarra) is actually Prometheus. It looks like Oliver will try to take down Prometheus before more people get hurt in Star City. With our villain unmasked, what is his endgame with Oliver? Guess we will find out this week when Arrow returns. Check out the promo and let us know what you think.

Extended Promo for Legends of Tomorrow’s Episode Moonshot

In our first look at next week’s Legends of Tomorrow, we have the time travelers moving in on the Legion of Doom as they head over to America’s first landing on the moon. Rip Hunter (Arthur Darvill) has come back after last week’s episode, but the team won’t have time to celebrate as they head for the Moon to stop Reverse-Flash (Matt Letscher). The new promo doesn’t give too much away, but this does look like a fun action-packed episode as both teams race against time to find the Spear of Destiny. Check out the promo for ‘Moonshot’ and let us know what you think.

First Look at Chapter 6 in the New Promo for Legion

We are only halfway through the first season of Legion and things are heating up for David Haller (Dan Stevens). In the promo for the upcoming episode ‘Chapter 6’, David and the team must go all the way back to the beginning to uncover his past. After saving Amy (Rachel Keller), David finds out that he’s adopted, which leaves many more questions for the powerful mutant. The mission to find David takes a dark turn as we learn more on his relationship with the demonic Lenny. Based on the trailer, this new episode will amp up the action as everyone heads back to where it all started for David. Check out the preview for the new episode and let us know what you think.
