Fox TV Spot for Returning Series this January 2021

Fox has released a TV show commercial for: Prodigal Son,  9-1-1, 9-1-1: Lone Star, and The Resident, all of whom are airing new seasons beginning in January 2021.

Prodigal Son

The series centers on Malcolm Bright, whose father, Martin Whitly, is the infamous serial killer known as “The Surgeon”. As a child, Malcolm was responsible for enabling the police to arrest his father, and has not seen his father in ten years after joining Quantico. Now a profiler with the FBI (until he was fired) and currently consulting for the New York Police Department, Malcolm is forced to confront his father after a copycat serial killer uses Whitly’s methods of killing. He finds himself drawn back into constant contact with his father as he must both use Whitly’s insights to help the police solve particularly horrible crimes and battle his own inner demons.

9-1-1

9–1–1 is an American procedural television series created by Ryan Murphy, Brad Falchuk, and Tim Minear for the Fox Broadcasting Company. The series follows the lives of Los Angeles first responders: police officers, paramedics, firefighters, and dispatchers.

9-1-1: Lone Star

9-1-1: Lone Star follows a sophisticated New York firefighter who, along with his son, relocates from Manhattan to Austin, Texas. He must try to balance the duties of saving those who are at their most vulnerable and solving the problems in his own life. Series star Rob Lowe serves as co-executive producer.

The Resident

The Resident is an American medical drama television series that…focuses on the lives and duties of staff members at Chastain Park Memorial Hospital, while delving into the bureaucratic practices of the hospital industry…It was created by Amy Holden Jones, Hayley Schore, and Roshan Sethi, and it is based on the book Unaccountable by Marty Makary.
