Game of Thrones: Season 7 TV Show Trailer 2

The second TV show trailer for Game of Thrones: Season 7 has been released by HBO. The new Season Seven promo for Game of Thrones is pretty exciting. It is comprised almost entirely of new footage from the upcoming fantasy / adventure TV season.

I love how the trailer begins with Little Finger (Aidan Gillen) trying to teach Sansa Stark (Sophie Turner) how he thinks, how he sees the chess board of Westeros. He wants Sansa to look beyond her myopic way of seeing things. It is sad how nonintellectual they made Little Finger in the TV series compared to how he is in the A Song of Ice and Fire book series.

Jon Snow (Kit Harington) talking to someone off-screen about the ancient times when all the kingdoms fought as one against the Others was effective but his audience was undisclosed. It was either Daenerys Targaryen (Emilia Clarke) or Cersei Lannister (Lena Headey). I am guessing it was Daenerys Targaryen because of all the animosity between the Starks and Lannisters.

As one would expect, the battle scenes look epic with Beric Dondarrion (Richard Dormer) lighting up his sword, Jon Snow fighting an Other, and numerous other battles including The Unsullied army fighting the Lannister army.

Using the fantastic music from the best moment in Season 6, the trial and destruction at the Sept of Baelor, for almost the entirety of the trailer was a nice touch as well.

Game of Thrones: Season 7 stars Maisie Williams, Nikolaj Coster-Waldau, Diana Rigg, Peter Dinklage, Liam Cunningham, Carice van Houten, Indira Varma, and John Bradley.
