GOTHAM: First Look at Paul Reubens as The Penguin’s Father [Fox]

Paul Reubens Robin Lord Taylor Gotham

Paul Reubens Appears in First Image of The Penguin’s Father on Gotham. It was just last October when Robin Lord Taylor announced at NYCC that Paul Reubens was cast as his character Oswald Cobblepot’s father on Gotham. Well, we now have the first image them together.

Producer Danny Cannon offered fans on Twitter a first look at Taylor along with Reubens as he makes his debut on the series as Oswald’s father in an upcoming episode. Interesting enough, this would be a second time that Reubens would be playing The Penguin’s father after portraying him in Batman Returns. In the film, he was known as Tucker Cobblepot, a wealthy man who, along with his wife Gertrude, dumped their child in the river after being disgusted by his deformity.

On the show, Oswald has a different relationship with his mother Gertrude (Carol Kane), so it will be interesting to see how Mr. Cobblepot will affect Oswald. Check out the photo and let us know what you think.
