GOTHAM: The Penguin and Riddler to Have Their First Meeting

The Penguin and The Riddler Gotham

First Meeting Between The Penguin and Riddler to Take Place on Gotham. Two of Batman’s most famous foes are about to meet for the first time on Fox’s Gotham. The two villains to have their first meetup would be The Penguin and Riddler.

Robin Lord Taylor first revealed the news via ComicBookResources when he was asked about what’s in store for his character during the second half of the crime drama’s freshman season. The actor said that the remaining first season episodes will have Edward Nygma (Cory Michael Smith) and Oswald Cobblepot meeting for the first time, which will be “one of the top three things” he’s been a part of since the series began. He also said:

Edward Nygma and Oswald finally meet, and it is, hands-down, one of the top three things that we’ve shot in the whole series. It’s one of my favorite scenes, and I’m so excited for more. They’re both such oddballs and so different, so differently odd. The dynamics between the two of us is just so fun to play and so different. To have two classic villains come together, I think it’s one of the first times it’s happened so far in the series. That’s what I’m looking forward to.

Despite these famous villains starting out their criminal careers, it seems that Robin Lord Taylor is quickly becoming the one we know as The Penguin. So once this meeting starts, are we to assume that Nygma will have some sinister ideas coming into his head leading him into becoming the future Riddler?
