A Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 2 Featurette housing interviews with Daniel Radcliffe, Emma Watson, and Rupert Grint and new footage from David Yates‘ Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 2 has premiered. The behind-the-scenes featurette is probably the precursor to the official movie trailer for Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 2 being released. This final film in the Harry Potter film series stars Helena Bonham Carter, Robbie Coltrane, Warwick Davis, Tom Felton, Ralph Fiennes, Michael Gambon, Jason Isaacs, Alan Rickman, David Thewlis, Julie Walters, Bonnie Wright, and Kelly MacDonald. Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 2’s plot synopsis: “The end begins as Harry, Ron, and Hermione go back to Hogwarts to find and destroy Voldemort’s final horcruxes, but when Voldemort finds out about their mission, the biggest battle begins and life as they know it will never be the same again.”

Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows is again directed by British filmmaker David Yates, of Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix and Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince previously. The script was also written again by Steve Kloves, of Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone, Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets, Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban, Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire, and also Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince, but not Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix. This is based on J.K. Rowling‘s very popular series of books which have already concluded.

Watch the Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 2 featurette below and leave your thoughts on it. Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 2 will open in theaters in 3D, 2D and IMAX 3D on July 15, 2011.
