Hawkeye’s Disney+ TV Series Begins Filming in NY This Week

The Hawkeye Disney+ TV series will begin production in Brooklyn, New York this week. Filming will begin on December 2, 2020. Given the working title of “Anchor Point,  Jeremy Renner will be reprising his role from the Marvel Cinematic Universe as Clint Barton / Hawkeye in the TV series.

The series will also star her daughter Kate Bishop, a future member of the Young Avengers and the person who adopts the Hawkeye moniker after Barton. It is rumored, though not yet confirmed, that Hailee Steinfeld is in the running for the role.

Stepping behind the camera of the Hawkeye TV series will be the directing duo known as Bert and Bertie (Amber Finlayson and Katie Ellwood).

There is no word yet when the Hawkeye TV series will begin airing on Disney+.
