Thoughts on This Week’s In-home Releases

The Coronavirus outbreak reverberations have continued this week with the early access digital release of mainstream films still in-theater. Those films include: The Invisible Man, Bloodshot, and Birds of Prey amongst others. The Invisible Man is one of the films in this group that has garnered favorable reviews when released in-theater a few weeks ago.

With regard to the regular in-home releases, 1917 is the most notable of these films. FilmBook Writer Lisa Iannucci reviewed 1917 and she had this to say:

1917 makes you jump, wince and cry. In today’s world where foreign relations are tense and the concept of another world war is getting closer to reality than it is just a concept, the film seems all too real.

You can read here her full 1917 film review.
