The Karate Kid (2010) Movie Trailer has premiered. The Karate Kid (2010) is directed by Harald Zwart and stars Jackie Chan, Jaden Smith, Taraji P. Henson. The Karate Kid (2010)‘s plot synopsis: “Work issues cause Dre Parker (Jaden Smith) to move to Beijing, China with his mother (Taraji P. Henson), where he encounters a bullying situation. Dre is rescued one day by Mr. Han (Jackie Chan) who decides to teach Dre so he can face the threats he faces.” I thought this remake was destined for the crap pile but I guess not. This film actually has a heart beat and looks entertaining. I like how they are using a different version of the same real world teaching style and the winks to the first films as well: “You’re like Yoda and I’m a Jedi”. The Karate Kid (2010) will be released on June 11, 2010.
