Killing Reagan Trailer

Rod Lurie‘s Killing Reagan (2016) TV movie trailer stars Joe Chrest, Cynthia Nixon, Tim Matheson, Joel Murray, and Gary Weeks. Killing Reagan‘s plot synopsis: based on the book by Bill O’Reilly and Martin Dugard, “A look at John Hinkley’s 1981 assassination attempt against U.S. President Ronald Reagan…Killing Reagan charts the events that led to one moment of national terror, and the unexpected imprints it made on history.”

This TV movie looks great thanks in large part to Tim Matheson and Cynthia Nixon’s performances. They really sell their characters and their affection for each other. Also sold in this trailer is John Hinckley Jr.‘s motivation to kill United States President Ronald Reagan.
