KRAMPUS (2015) Movie Poster 2: Michael Dougherty’s Slightly Different Christmas Movie

Krampus Movie Poster 2 Arrives

Krampus Movie Poster 2 Arrives. The new horror film by Michael Dougherty of Trick ‘R Treat (2008) fame has received a new movie poster in anticipation for the film’s release. Take a look at the previous one that was released a few months ago. Do you like this one more or less?

Personally, I understand the need to produce this new, second one. The colors are more pleasing to the eye, and not everyone has an affection for 1980s VHS cover-art that the first one clearly pays homage to. This is for those unfamiliar crowds who aren’t sold on the film yet.

According to Bloody-Disgusting, “In theaters December 4th, Krampus is a darkly festive tale of a yuletide ghoul that reveals an irreverently twisted side to the holiday.

Trick ‘r Treat director Michael Dougherty’s latest holiday offering stars Adam Scott, Toni Collette, David Koechner, Allison Tolman, Conchata Ferrell, Emjay Anthony, Stefania Lavie Owen with Krista Stadler.

In Krampus, “When his dysfunctional family clashes over the holidays, young Max (Emjay Anthony) is disillusioned and turns his back on Christmas. Little does he know, this lack of festive spirit has unleashed the wrath of Krampus: a demonic force of ancient evil intent on punishing non-believers.

All hell breaks loose as beloved holiday icons take on a monstrous life of their own, laying siege to the fractured family’s home and forcing them to fight for each other if they hope to survive.”

I grew up in Hamburg to a German father and Ecuadorian mother. Obsessive student of film, Hip-Hop, and stand-up comedy. I love the dark dreambox that is the cinema auditorium. I love mountains and the ocean, but am equally exhilarated by the jungle of the city. I hope to one day create something that hits someone in the brain with thunderous effect.
