BBC and PBS Masterpiece‘s Les Misérables (2019) TV mini-series trailer stars Dominic West, David Oyelowo, Lily Collins, Adeel Akhtar, and Olivia Colman. Les Misérables‘ plot synopsis: based on the book by Victor Hugo, “the non-musical adaptation of the beloved tale delves deep into the many layers of Valjean and Javert’s cat-and-mouse relationship, and set against the epic backdrop of France at a time of civil unrest.”
