Mr. Church‘s plot synopsis: “Mr. Church tells the story of a unique friendship that develops when a little girl and her dying mother retain the services of a talented cook – Henry Joseph Church (Eddie Murphy). What begins as a six month arrangement instead spans fifteen years, and creates a family bond that lasts forever.”

This trailer was very surprising. I have heard and read about stories like this. The Help has a segment evolving a relationship like the one that grows between Mr. Church (Eddie Murphy) and Charlotte (Britt Robertson) as well. I think this will be one of Eddie Murphy’s best performances in years. FilmBook writer Mufsin Mahbub actually reviewed Mr. Church at the 2016 Tribeca Film Festival.

Mr. Church also stars Mckenna Grace, Madison Wolfe, Jenica Bergere, Christian Madsen, Thom Barry, Lincoln Melcher, Amy Sutherland, Michael Leone, Natalie Coughlin, and Adriana Leonard.
