USA Network‘s Mr. Robot: Season 3, Episode 5: Eps3.4_runtimeerr0r.r00 TV Show Trailer stars Rami Malek. Something big is in store for Elliot, but the trailer for next week’s episode reveals precious little about it.

Mr. Robot: Season 3’s plot synopsis from USA Network:

Golden Globe® award-winning series Mr. Robot returns to USA Network for a third season this October. The series follows Elliot Alderson (Rami Malek), a cyber-security engineer who became involved in the underground hacker group fsociety after being recruited by their mysterious leader (Christian Slater), who he later discovered to be the projection of his dead father. Following the events of fsociety’s five/nine hack on the multi-national company Evil Corp, Season 2 explored the consequences of the attack as well as the illusion of control.

The episode will feature, via IMDB, Rami Malek, Christian Slater, Bobby Cannavale, Carly Chaikin, Shannon Breckinridge, Ray Crisara, Stephanie Corneliussen, Michael Cristofer, Portia Doubleday, Rick Barone, Grace Gummer, Martin Wallstrom, Brian Donahue, Julian Gavilanes, Patricia Hodges, Richard Lyntton, and Lynn Marocola.

While I wish I could say I was excited about next Tuesday’s episode, the promo for it gives me and viewers very little to go off beyond vague promises about a “groundbreaking” show. It’s an approach that feels more appropriate to a clickbait article headline than a TV show trailer, but I hope that the episode lives up to the hype it’s apparently trying to create for itself.

**** We hired Reggie, fulfilled our obligations to him, and he quit in the middle of covering two TV series w/ no notice and no explanation. He then ignored our emails asking him to complete his coverage (we had no one else to cover those TV shows). He didn't care. We regret hiring him and we regret putting our trust in him. **** An aspiring writer, longtime film junkie, and former UCLARadio.com disc jockey (where I graduated with a BA in Political Science), I've made the jump from penning book reviews and current events editorials for HonorSociety.org to writing movie and TV news and reviews. When I'm not working towards my certificate in Radio and Television/Video Production at Fullerton College, I enjoy reading (horror, science fiction, and historical/political nonfiction are particular favorites), participating in my school's TV and theatre clubs, attending movie screenings, plays, concerts, and other events, and trying to come up with pithy things to say on social media. Believe it or not, there are occasions where I find time to write for my own leisure.
