Netflix has released the second TV show trailer for Narcos: Mexico (2018). The trailer shows the viewer the personalities of some of the keys players in the story-line while simultaneously giving the viewer the impression that this season will be somewhat disjointed.

The two lead characters in Narcos: Mexico are portrayed by Diego Luna and Michael Pena:

Michael Pena is playing an undercover DEA agent named Kiki Camarena, who moves his wife and young son from California to Mexico as he takes on his new assignment of investigating the Guadalajara Cartel.

Narcos: Mexico stars Michael Pena, Diego Luna, Matt Letscher, Aaron Staton, Alfonso Dosal, Joaquin Cosio, Ernesto Alterio, Alyssa Diaz, Tenoch Huerta, Teresa Ruiz, Fernanda Urrejola, Horacio Garcia Rojas, Yul Vazquez, Lenny Jacobson, and Jackie Earle Haley.
