Series Plot Synopsis

The Chosen One (2023)’s plot synopsis: “THE CHOSEN ONE is a series based on the graphic novel ‘American Jesus’ by writer Mark Millar and artist Peter Gross.

Imagine for a moment… You’re 12 years old and one day you discover that you possess the same powers as Jesus Christ.

Meet Jodie, a kid who finds himself in awe as he starts to develop incredible and divine abilities.

The events and revelations that follow lead the young prodigy and his crew of friends to embark on a supernatural coming of age journey through the Baja region that could change their reality and everything the world believes.

Will he rise to answer the divine call?”

More on the plot

The series revolves around Jodie, a twelve-year-old boy from Santa Rosalia, Baja California Sur, whose life takes a dramatic turn after surviving a freak accident.

Jodie discovers that he possesses extraordinary powers reminiscent of Jesus Christ himself. He can perform miracles, such as turning water into wine, healing the crippled, and potentially even raising the dead.

As Jodie grapples with his newfound abilities, he must come to terms with his destiny and lead the world through a conflict that has been brewing for thousands of years.”

On TV Show Trailers

“A trailer (also known as a preview, coming attraction or attraction video) is a commercial advertisement, originally for a feature film that is going to be exhibited in the future at a movie theater/cinema. It is a product of creative and technical work.

The key ambition in trailer-making is to impart an intriguing story that gets…audiences emotionally involved.

While not initially prevalent in television, TV show trailers started as a common form of advertisement in the late 2000s. They are often trailers advertising a new TV series, episode, event or marathon premiering on television. Trailers for the next episode of a TV series are often shown during or following the closing credits of the show.

A promo (a shorthand term for promotion) is a form of commercial advertising used in broadcast media, either television or radio, which promotes a program airing on a television or radio station/network to the viewing or listening audience. Promos usually appear during commercial breaks, although sometimes they appear during another program.

Trailers for the next episode of a TV series are often shown during or following the closing credits of the show.”
