PREACHER: Seth Rogen Teases Jesse and Arseface in First Image [AMC]

Seth Rogen Offers BTS Image of Jesse Custer and Arseface in Preacher. With AMC’s upcoming series Preacher already in production, Seth Rogen offered fans a quick glimpse at actors Dominic Cooper and Ian Colletti playing their characters Jesse Custer and Arseface.

On his Twitter page, Seth Rogen gave a behind-the-scenes look at the production for Preacher. When production began last week, the actor/director tweeted the start of filming saying, “I can’t believe we are f**king doing this!!!” It seemed that Seth couldn’t contain his excitement, so he even gave a photo of Dominic Cooper’s Jesse Custer in what looks like a bedroom belonging to Ian Colletti’s Arseface. In the background of the photo seems to be collaborator Evan Goldberg, who also co-wrote and directed the pilot alongside Rogen.

AMC’s adaptation of Garth Ennis’ critically acclaimed comic book series follows a small town Texas preacher named Jesse Custer who, nearly given up on his faith, merges with a supernatural entity known as Genesis, birthed from both an angel and a demon. With a newfound ability rivaling God, Jesse hits the road with his ex-girlfriend Tulip (Ruth Negga) and Irish vampire Cassidy (Joseph Gilgun) on a journey to find God and get answers on why He abandoned his duties in Heaven.
