The Salesman Trailer 2

The second U.S. movie trailer for The Salesman / Forushande (2016) has been released by Amazon Studios. The first trailer was more of the setup, the “how.” This movie trailer shows the result of “the incident.” I don’t know why they don’t go to the police to report what happened but I am glad that plot point was not spoiled in this trailer.

The Salesman was picked by Iran as their official 2016 Academy Award entry for Best Foreign Film.

The Salesman‘s plot synopsis: “After their old flat becomes damaged, Emad (Shahab Hosseini) and Rana (Taraneh Alidoosti), a young couple living in Tehran, are forced to move into a new apartment. Eventually, an incident linked to the previous tenant of their new home dramatically changes the couple’s life.”

Asghar Farhadi‘s The Salesman stars Shahab Hosseini, Taraneh Alidoosti, Babak Karimi, and Mina Sadati.
