Scorsese’s Shutter Island Movie Trailer

Martin Scorsese‘s newest film, Shutter Island, starring Leonardo DiCaprio, has released its first trailer. The trailer has great visuals, something a cinephile expects from a Scorsese film. Based on the 2003 book of the same name by Dennis Lehane, Shutter Island “is the story of two U.S. marshals, Teddy Daniels (Leonardo DiCaprio) and Chuck Aule (Mark Ruffalo), who are summoned to a remote and barren island off the coast of Massachusetts to investigate the mysterious disappearance of a murderess from the island’s fortress-like hospital for the criminally insane.” Shutter Island will be released on October 2, 2009.
