Shhh Short Film Trailer. Freddy Chavez Olmos, Shervin Shoghian‘s Shhh (2011) short film trailer stars Ilze Burger, Sean Michael Kyer, and Ashley Whitehead. Shhh‘s plot synopsis: “Shhh is a fantasy/horror short tale about a young boy, Guillermo, who uses his imagination to overcome his bully: a hair-eating monster. Tired of being scared, Guillermo eventually takes matters into his own hands. It’s only then that we realize the monster might not be as fictitious as one may have thought.”

Looks cool. The thing that comes out of the tub looks disgusting, much like the gestation from the tub in the Tub (2010) Short Film.

On the effects in Shhh:

Featuring a creepy monster conceived by Sion Lee and put together by prosthetic and creature designer Tibor Farkas, the monster suit is worn by a dancer, giving the creature a beautifully fluid movement I hadn’t expected but which is hinted at in a few frames of the trailer.

When the viewer will be able to see the entire short film Shhh:

With the project complete and the duo is prepping for festival submission, it’s likely we’ll have the opportunity to see the film in the coming festival year
