Sinister‘s plot synopsis: “Found footage helps a true-crime novelist realize how and why a family was murdered in his new home, though his discoveries put his entire family in the path of a supernatural entity.”

And I think this new red-band trailer for the film is excellent. It features almost no dialogue, working instead off image and sound. It is red-band thanks to some partial nudity, expletive-laden pullquotes, and a generally intense tone, and I’d say that just about everyone should check it out.
Sinister also stars Fred Dalton Thompson, Michael Hall D’Addario, Juliet Rylance, Cameron Ocasio, Danielle Kotch, Victoria Leigh, Ethan Haberfield, Blake Mizrahi, and Rachel Konstantin.
