Thoughts

As the first film out of the gate that follow-ups Avengers: Endgame, Spider-Man: Far From Home should do very well in theaters. Including key players from the Iron Man films is a good touch but a multi-verse? Like in Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse?

The producers for live-action Spider-Man have not even finished exploring Peter Parker (Tom Holland)’s current world yet or its diverse inhabitants. There is no need for a multiverse at this point.

Plot Synopsis

Spider-Man: Far From Home‘s plot synopsis: “Peter Parker returns in Spider-Man: Far From Home, the next chapter of the Spider-Man: Homecoming series! Our friendly neighborhood Super Hero decides to join his best friends Ned, MJ, and the rest of the gang on a European vacation. However, Peter’s plan to leave super heroics behind for a few weeks are quickly scrapped when he begrudgingly agrees to help Nick Fury uncover the mystery of several elemental creature attacks, creating havoc across the continent!”

Jon Watts‘ Spider-Man: Far From Home stars Zendaya, Marisa Tomei, Jake Gyllenhaal, Samuel L. Jackson, Michael Keaton, J.B. Smoove, Cobie Smulders, Jacob Batalon, Tony Revolori, Numan Acar, Remy Hii, Martin Starr, and Angourie Rice.

Chris McKenna and Erik Sommers wrote the screenplay for the film.
