The seventh movie TV commercial and the third movie featurette for Walt Disney Studios Motion Pictures‘  Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker (2019) have been released. The Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker TV spot is entitled ‘Forever.’ In the TV promo, this dialogue can be heard:

“It’s too dangerous. I need to go alone,” Rey (Daisy Ridley) says at the start of this new promo. To which Finn (John Boyega) snaps back, “we are all in this … ’til the end.”

“We got friends out there,” Poe says in a new scene, referring to Leia Organa (Carrie Fisher) and Lando Calrissian (Billy Dee Williams, who is reprising his iconic role for the first time since “Empire Strikes Back” and “Return of the Jedi”). “Good people will fight, if we lead them.”

The Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker featurette is entitled ‘Friendship.’ The film featurette features

video from the set and archival footage from the original films, the promo celebrates the importance of friendship and family, emphasizing the camaraderie between cast members, which had developed during the making of the entire “Skywalker” saga.

“The feeling on set is one of joy,” says Daisy Ridley, who plays rebel hero Rey.

“I really like, with this film, that we get a lot more scenes together, especially myself, Oscar, and Daisy,” remarks John Boyega, who plays former stormtrooper-turned-Resistance fighter Finn.

“The dynamic between us three is capturing some of that spirit of the original films,” states Oscar Isaac who plays hotshot X-wing fighter pilot-turned-rebel commander Poe Dameron.

He adds in the above clip, “The Star Wars Universe has created friendships that have lasted forty plus years. So, to capture that spirit and bring it to conclusion has been such an amazing task.”
