FX’s The Strain ‘Ouroboros’ TV show trailer stars Corey Stoll, David Bradley, Richard Sammel, Kevin Durand, Rupert Penry-Jones, Miguel Gomez, Ruta Gedmintas, Natalie Brown, Max Charles, and Jonathan Hyde. Guest stars include Angel Parker, K.C. Collins, Michael Reventar, David Bronfman, Dayton Sinkia, and Katherine Gauthier.

The Boys are Back, and They’re Looking for Trouble. On the next episode of The Strain, Quinlan (Rupert Penry-Jones), Fet (Kevin Durand), and new guy, Roman (K.C. Collins), make it back to New York City, and its going to be the bomb. Since the bomb is exactly what the Master (Jonathan Hyde) is worried about (the town isn’t big enough for two nuclear events, obviously), so some last minute lockdown will be going into effect.

Of course, since the Master’s on-again-off-again uni-mind network is on (again), Quinlan, at least, thought it best to not even try for the element of surprise. Because: dramatics, I’m guessing.

I’m also guessing that most of the drama will be coming from the old band starting to be put back together. Even as Ephraim (Corey Stoll) seems determined to reconnect with Setrakian (David Bradley), Setrakian will no doubt be determined to get back into the fight, fresh from being infirmed.

The ‘Ouroboros’ plot synopsis:

His health failing, Setrakian ignores Eph’s warnings, pushing himself to the limit in his quest for victory and revenge. Fet and Quinlan race back to Manhattan, while the Master seals off the city and prepares to eliminate them all.

‘Ouroboros’ airs Sunday, Aug. 27, at 10:00pm EST, on FX.
