Suicide Squad in Talks with Will Smith, Ryan Gosling, Margot Robbie, and Tom Hardy for Roles. After the announcement of a film being made, casting news has already hit the waves as four actors are being considered for David Ayer’s film.

The Hollywood Reporter has reported that actors Will Smith, Ryan Gosling, Margot Robbie, and Tom Hardy are all being targeted for roles in the upcoming ensemble film. Just keep in mind that none of these actors have actually signed on for the film yet, so casting may change further down the line. It also depends on their work schedule as some of these actors may be working on other films.

Introduced by DC Comics in 1959, the Suicide Squad were a team of mercenaries who take on dangerous missions for the government in order to lower their prison sentences. The team roster has changed over the years, but it usually consists of countless villains like Deathstroke, Deadshot, Harley Quinn, and Captain Boomerang to name a few. Their first live-action debut was in The CW’s Arrow during its second season. The team was also shown recently in the animated film, Batman: Assault on Arkham.

Would you cast these actors in the Suicide Squad? If not, which actors would you cast to play those roles? The Suicide Squad will be released on August 5, 2016.
