Calista Flockhart Resist Supergirl Trailer

Supergirl: Resist Promo

The CW’s Supergirl Season 2, Episode 21: ‘Resist’ TV Show trailer stars Melissa Benoist, Mehcad Brooks, Jeremy Jordan, Chyler Leigh, and David Harewood. Cat Grant (Calista Flockhart) returns in next week’s episode as Rhea’s (Teri Hatcher) army begins to invade Earth.

As Daxamites begin their descent on Earth, next week’s episode will have Kara (Melissa Benoist) teaming up with some unexpected allies as she goes into a final battle with Rhea. We also have Cat Grant coming back into the fold as we enter the last two episodes of the season. The second season is looking to go out strong but it leaves us with some questions on how it all goes down with the Girl of Steel. We spot Lillian Luthor (Brenda Strong) out from prison to help with stopping the invasion. We also see her daughter Lena (Katie McGrath) in a royal garb, which could mean that she perhaps has aligned herself with the queen of Daxam or is just simply held against her will. The same holds true for Mon-El (Chris Wood) as we also spot him on the ship. How do you think this will all go down?

As everything starts to come full circle, we should expect the return of Superman (Tyler Hoechlin) as well as President Olivia Marsdin (Lynda Carter). Perhaps we will learn more about the President’s alien background as well?
