THE CAPE: Season 1 Cut Short: Summer Glau, David Lyons

David Lyons, The Cape

Summer Glau and David LyonsThe Cape is having its Season 1 cut short and reduced by NBC. Instead of the thirteen episode order NBC had originally made, they have reduced it by three episodes. “The move comes after a series low on Monday in the ratings (1.5 rating/4 share in adults 18-49, 5.3 million viewers).”  I watched the first episode of The Cape – a two hour episode – and I was left lukewarm on the show. It had its good points and it had its bad points. It certainly wasn’t as good as the first season of Heroes. This may be the first step in NBC bailing on The Cape. At least NBC didn’t move The Cape to a “Death Slot”. What do you think of The Cape? Do you think it should be saved or canceled?
