Jay Garrick to Appear in Season Two of The Flash. For those of you who have seen the season finale of The Flash would take notice of Jay Garrick’s helmet flying out of the time portal. Well, EP Geoff Johns has just confirmed that the original speedster will appear in the upcoming season.

Comic Book Resources had the scoop from San Diego Comic Con that the First Flash Jay Garrick will certainly be making an appearance on The Flash when it returns this fall. Geoff Johns confirmed that it’s going to happen during the DC Page To Screen Panel, revealing that the helmet from the season finale was more than just an Easter egg. That’s because the original Flash will be coming to the show.

“That’s not an Easter egg, that’s a story point,” Johns said of the helmet’s emergence. “We’re going to see Jay.” This is a huge development for The Flash moving forward as the show is attempting to explore the existence of multiverses and parallel dimensions.
