The Kick Trailer, The Kick Poster. Prachya Pinkaew‘s The Kick (2011) teaser trailer, movie poster stars Brahim Achabbakhe, Cho Jae-Hyun, Yea Ji-won, Petchtai Wongkamlao, and JeeJa Yanin. The Kick‘s plot synopsis: “A Korean family made up of taekwondo experts moves to Thailand, where they set up a taekwondo gym. However, one member of the family, Taeju, wants to become a famous pop singer instead. The family becomes famous after stopping treasure robbers.”
The Kick teaser trailer is pretty funny. Reminds me of Shaolin Soccer and The 36th Chamber of Shaolin.
The first teaser trailer is focused on showing us the family members in action rather than revealing too much about the plot. It’s essentially a stylised Taekwondo demonstration between two thin slices of banter.
