THE LAST WITCH HUNTER (2015) Movie Posters: Vin Diesel on The Iron Throne

The Last Witch Hunter Posters Have Been Released

The Last Witch Hunter Movie Posters. Breck Eisner‘s The Last Witch Hunter (2015) movie posters have been released.

I like Vin Diesel. He seems like a good guy, and usually finds himself in roles he can handle. I remember first seeing Knockaround GuysSaving Private Ryan, and The Fast and The Furious, thinking, this guy’s alright. I’m rooting for him. I’ve never been a big Pitch Black fan, and rarely appreciate these middling sci-fi fantasy films that feel like MMO games adapted to screen. They never work, in my mind, and I just can’t muster any interest in that subgenre anymore. I suppose most people feel like that, which is why something like Jupiter Ascending didn’t do well (domestically).

In any case, The Last Witch Hunter feels like a far more grounded fantasy film than the aforementioned titles. Looking at the trailer (which we reported on here), you can tell that the foundation of effects shots is mostly practical. There’s a serious tone to the fantastical elements they’re trying to get you to swallow – and that’s key.

We’ve now been treated to two posters for the film. One of these posters is good. The other one is garbage – lazy, cheap, and Vin Diesel’s head is clearly photoshopped onto his body. The lighting is all wrong. Anyway, take a look for yourself.

I grew up in Hamburg to a German father and Ecuadorian mother. Obsessive student of film, Hip-Hop, and stand-up comedy. I love the dark dreambox that is the cinema auditorium. I love mountains and the ocean, but am equally exhilarated by the jungle of the city. I hope to one day create something that hits someone in the brain with thunderous effect.
