The second TV show trailer for The Punisher: Season 2 has been released by Netflix. The teaser trailer for The Punisher: Season 2 can be viewed here. There is no word yet whether or not if this will be the second and last season of The Punisher on Netflix but if they cancelled Daredevil, The Punisher will be cancelled a month or so after Season 2 premieres. If this is the last season of The Punisher on Netflix, it is certainly going out with a bang. A bloody one.

The Punisher: Season 2 stars Jon Bernthal, Ben Barnes, Amber Rose Revah, Jason R. Moore, Annette O’Toole, Corbin Bernsen, Giorgia Whigham, Floriana Lima, and Josh Stewart.

On what character is playing which character in Season 2 of The Punisher:

Billy Russo (Ben Barnes) will be back, presumably as Jigsaw. Amber Rose Revah’s Dinah Madani and Jason R. Moore’s Curtis Hoyle are the only other season 1 cast members officially returning.

Annette O’Toole and Corbin Bernsen are also joining the show as Eliza and Anderson Schultz, respectively. Giorgia Whigham will portray Amy Bendix, with Floriana Lima as Krista Dumont, and Josh Stewart as John Pilgrim.

The Punisher: Season 2 plot synopsis: “Frank Castle (Jon Bernthal) can run but he can’t hide from who he’s meant to be. Season two finds Frank in all too familiar territory. With Castle’s former brother-in-arms Billy Russo (Ben Barnes) slowly beginning to heal from the traumatic brain injury Frank inflicted on him, it’s only a matter of time before Billy starts to put the pieces of the puzzle back together.”
