The blockbuster first opened up in a limited number of theaters and thanks to its visual effects and the great reception it received, it was released on a bigger scale. What happened next is it became the highest-grossing film of its time, earning $775 million. Needless to say, the Star Wars franchise is one of the best movie franchises in cinematic history. If you haven’t seen them all by now, take time to see what you’ve missed.

Tatsuya Nakadai Harakiri

7. Harakiri (IMDB user rating: 8.7)

Harakiri tied with Star Wars: Episode V: The Empire Strikes Back as well as with The Matrix with a user rating of 8.7, but it had the least amount of votes out of the three movies (34,065). That puts this 1962 movie at number seven.
