AMC’s The Walking Dead The Distance TV show trailer & clip. If The Walking Dead has taught us anything, it’s don’t trust strangers. On top of that: don’t trust strangers who look like they’ve been holed up at an Abercrombie & Fitch outlet, and never trust anyone who actually says “trust me,” with open arms & a smile.

So smiling-Abercrombie & Fitch-open arms guy, Aaron (Ross Marquand), is a dead man, right?

Well, our Walking Dead aren’t too far gone, just yet; so not even Aaron’s dangerous familiarity with Team Rick’s (Andrew Lincoln) members, his being outfitted to bring help running, or even his being nonchalant, over being a captive of Rick’s beard, will likely result in a summary execution (or torture, even).

No, given Team Rick’s recent ordeal, on the road, they were likely left asking the same question a lot of fans might have been, for some time: the promise of sanctuary has to pan out sometime, right? There is such a thing as getting your due, after all…? Well, God gave them water, shelter, and a divinely programmed Z buster Roomba, so why not an honest emissary?

Naturally, this self-delivered time-share pitch comes with scenes of carnage & mayhem; but the two will not necessarily be directly linked. That’s why God also created manipulative editors….

‘The Distance’ also stars Norman Reedus, Steven Yeun, Lauren Cohan, Chandler Riggs, Melissa McBride, Sonequa Martin-Green, Michael Cudlitz, Josh McDermitt, Christian Serratos, Alanna Masterson, Tyler James Williams, and Seth Gilliam. It airs Sunday, Feb. 22, at 9:00pm EST, on AMC.
