AMC teases The Walking Dead‘s fifth season with new poster image. Fresh off of The Walking Dead‘s record breaking ratings, for the season 4 finale, AMC has already released a poster for season 5. The image is of Rick Grimes (Andrew Lincoln), illuminated by stained glass window light, in an otherwise dark space. The sole caption to the image boldly stating: “Survive.”

Much of season 4’s latter half posed the question of “who will arrive” versus “who will survive” (a play on the broadcasted promise of Terminus: “Those who arrive, survive”). The season 4 finale answered, for the most part, the question of “who will arrive” at Terminus; with this poster, it is suggested that the second question will be taken up by the season 5 premiere, at least.
It may also represent the advent of “no more Officer Friendly,” where Rick is concerned, but I may be getting ahead of myself.
