Henry Cavill The Witcher First Look Test Footage

Netflix‘s The Witcher (2019) first look video stars Henry Cavill in character as Geralt of Rivia, the main character of the fantasy television series. The test footage features Henry Cavill in full Geralt: white hair, orange eyes, and leather outfit. In the video, Geralt is drinking a liquid out of a small bottle.

The Witcher‘s plot synopsis: based on the book series by Andrzej Sapkowski, “The Witcher is an epic tale of fate and family. Geralt of Rivia, a solitary monster hunter, struggles to find his place in a world where people often prove more wicked than beasts. But when destiny hurtles him toward a powerful sorceress, and a young princess with a dangerous secret, the three must learn to navigate the increasingly volatile Continent together.”

The Witcher also stars Freya Allan, Jodhi May, Bjorn Hlynur Haraldsson, Adam Levy, Anya Chalotra, MyAnna Buring, Mimi Ndiweni, Therica Wilson-Read, and Millie Brady.

Episodes of The Witcher will be directed by Alik Sakharov, Alex Garcia Lopez, and Charlotte Brandstrom.
