TITANS: TNT Series Reportedly Titled Blackbirds

Titans May Change Series Title to Blackbirds. Don’t get used to calling the Teen Titans live-action series Titans as reports have indicated that the upcoming TNT show may change it’s title to Blackbirds. It’s also confirmed that shooting will start this spring in Canada.

TNT’s Titans may be getting a new name based on a report on SeasonZero.com. The show will feature Dick Grayson’s Nightwing leading a team of superheroes alongside Barbara Gordon with members Raven, Starfire, and duo Hawk and Dove. So why the name change from Titans to Blackbirds? We have no idea, but the Blackbirds name seems to originate from the many characters in this series that have bird-type names. This may even indicate at the appearance of another version of Batman’s sidekick Robin.

Along with the new title, the show will start filming in Toronto, Canada this spring. We should be getting more information on the show during the coming weeks with some official casting new at the TNT upfront in May 13th.
