It’s been 20 years since we met these characters and John Hodge’s screenplay brilliantly explores what’s happened to them — and to us — in the intervening years. We are grateful to Tom and Hannah for their support and we can’t wait to get going

Trainspotting made $16.4 Million when it was released by Miramax on July 19, 1996. That film went on to become a cult classic, referenced in pop culture and selling numerous pieces of related merchandise.

Rumors of a sequel have circulated for years. Rumor has now become fact.
