The most polarizing political campaign in Unites States history, Showtime chronicles the rise of Donald Trump from the longest of long shots in the 2016 Republican primary to the national presidential campaign to the 45th President of the United States.

This type of documentary was inevitable. Because of Showtime’s access to political campaigns and campaign personal during the 2016 campaign season, they were able to cobble together and a produce a film on it first.
